Campaigns

The Friends of the Wisdom Hospice organise several fundraising campaigns throughout the year. This is a great opportunity for us to increase awareness of our work and raise vital funds.

Hospice Care Campaign 2013

We intend to run the Hospice Care Campaign again this year and have 18 collections booked so far. This will be a great opportunity for us to increase awareness of our work and also raise valuable funds.

Please get in touch if you are able to help. We need two volunteers for every 2 hour slot.

Jubilee Owl Appeal
We still have a few of our commissioned fluffy owls for sale! I've added a picture of the owl, so that you can see for yourself how cute they are. The price per owl is just £1, which represents great value for money.

The owls have sold like hot cakes but we still have some left that are looking for loving homes. If you would like to buy one or know of a school, club or group that would like these then please let us know.



Eggscellent Easter Appeal
A huge thank you to everyone who helped with this year’s Easter Appeal. We were inundated with knitted chicks and rabbits from volunteers and supporters and we didn’t do too badly with the donation of cadburys creme eggs either! Our thanks go to Asda Chatham, Strood, Chatham and Rainham Wilkinson’s Stores, The Coop Delce, Morrisons Walderslade and Sarah Peskett who were our egg donors!
