The Friends of the Wisdom Hospice organise several fundraising campaigns throughout the year. This is a great opportunity for us to increase awareness of our work and raise vital funds.
Hospice Care Campaign 2012
Thank you to everyone who donated to the 2012 Sunflower Appeal.
I am delighted to announce that we have collected the grand sum of £4,453.67. Once again well done and thank you from The Friends.

Jubilee Owl AppealWe still have a few of our commissioned fluffy owls for sale! I've added a picture of the owl, so that you can see for yourself how cute they are. The price per owl is just £1, which represents great value for money.
The owls have sold like hot cakes but we still have some left that are looking for loving homes. If you would like to buy one or know of a school, club or group that would like these then please let us know.
Easter Appeal
Calling all knitters!! The Friends need your help. Every Easter we always sell very cute little knitted bunnies and chicks (see images below); if you have ever visited the Hospice around this time then I’m sure you will have seen them sitting on reception! This year we would like to raise even more money, which means we need even more knitted characters.
If you have any spare time and enjoy knitting then it would be great if you could knit some rabbits and chicks for us. The patterns are available for you to download or you can give us a call and we will send you some paper copies. Happy knitting!
